Kristina Edström - One of Sweden's most influential women


Screenshot from the internetOn the International Women's Day on 8 March, the Swedish newspaper Expressen published a list of the top-100 most influential women in Sweden, were professor Kristina Edström, at the research programme Structural Chemistry, at the Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory, was listed as number 14. 

The motivation states: "Once upon a time, her research was considered stone-cold. Now she's hotter than hot. As a professor of inorganic chemistry and an expert in batteries, her knowledge is at the center of the green transition where electrification is absolutely crucial. Now she leads the EU's billion investment Battery 2030+, where the money goes to research grants in different countries."
