Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- Account for current trends in chemical research especially with respect to the chosen specialisation within the Master programme.
- Summarise and critically analyse scientific articles.
- Participate actively in seminars on current scientific methods and questions both based on chosen articles and about research documentation.
Content
Choices of and search in scholarly databases; overview of different fields of current chemical research, partly common to all but also in small groups depending on chosen specialisation. documentation of scientific results. Plagiarism.
Instruction
Lectures and seminars. It is required that the student has been present at the lectures and have actively participated in the seminars
Assessment
Written summaries of given, during the course presented, research fields. Furthermore is required that the student has been acting as a seminar leader.
