Clinical Chemistry, Endocrinology and Neurochemistry - Jonas Bergquist

In the Analytical Neurochemistry and Clinical Chemistry focus group we use especially human brain tissue and lumbar cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as a sample sources. One clear goal for us is to be world leading in the characterisation of CSF as a biological fluid and source for biomarkers and we are making very good progress here. New, high performing analytical tools are invented and improved to discover and verify novel biomarkers for improved diagnosis and prognosis of neurological diseases.
- Jonas Bergquist talks about Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) at a seminar presented on Zoom within Uppsala university's popular science seminar series UppTalk Weekly. (Link to YouTube. The conversation is in Swedish but is available with English subtitles.)
