Christer Elvingson Group

Our research is aiming at developing novel and more efficient methods for computational studies of complex colloidal and polymeric materials, and also to apply these methods to explain and predict physical-chemical properties of such systems. In cooperation with both experimentalists and theoretical groups, our research is mainly focused on the surface properties of polymer materials and the transport of nanoparticles and macromolecules in polymer gels. We specifically investigate how the structure and dynamics of the gel fibres in a crosslinked network will affect the transport properties.
