Cyanobacteria for biofuel

Our main interest is to design robust strains of cyanobacteria to be used in large-scale cultivation for biofuels production. This research is within the biochemical route in the science of the Consortium for Artificial Photosynthesis (CAP), which is a collaborative constellation consisting of strong interdisciplinary research groups from Lund University, KTH and Uppsala University. The goal is to manufacture solar fuels using biological systems.
