Two researchers from Chemistry - Ångström to receive grant at the Royal Palace

Each year the King Carl XVI Gustafs 50 year foundation welcomes researchers within science, technology and environment to the Royal Palace. While there they will receive a grant from King Carl XVI Gustaf, the reception takes place on the 8th of May.

The Department of Chemistry - Ångström will be represented by two researchers, Mamoun Taher of Inorganic Chemistry and Bo Xu who was active at Physical Chemistry up until December 2018.

Mamoun Taher will receive the grant for his startup company Graphmatech and their work with Aros Graphene - "the missing link to large-scale applications of the supermaterial graphene".

Bo Xu is receiving the grant for his research within "material development for lead-free perovskite solar cells".
